What is Trauma?
Trauma is a deep emotional wound caused by overwhelming events that threaten one’s sense of safety.
In some way, everyone is affected by trauma; especially in childhood where trauma can develop through abuse, neglect, loss, or witnessing violence, which disrupts normal emotional and brain development.
Trauma-informed coaching acknowledges these impacts, creating a safe and empowering environment.
This helps process pain, rebuild resilience, and foster healthy coping strategies, promoting long-term healing and wellbeing.

Hi, I’m Stuart
I spent years in functional freeze, shaped by unresolved childhood trauma and the feeling of being unheard—even as an adult.
I kept pushing through, stuck in a cycle of “just get on with it,” while my body quietly screamed that I wasn’t safe.
Eventually, I began searching for answers and discovered the deep impact unprocessed trauma has on our emotional and physical wellbeing.
Through personal healing and high-level training, I’ve learned that not every childhood lesson is harmful—and that healing is possible. Now as a Somatic Trauma Informed Coach, I help others move from survival to safety, resilience, and authentic living.
